BUSINESS MISSION
The mission of this company is to be the biggest producer of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages through expansion by diversification and joint ventures. In order to achieve our mission, we will invest in technology, and we will use market expansion strategies such as mergers and acquisition, take overs, diversification and organic growth strategies.
MARKETING AUDITING (BUSINESS ENVIRNMENT)
The environment in which we operate will have to be monitored constantly. These include the political, economic, social, technological, ecological and legal environment. These factors constantly affect our business so we will pay special attention and react when necessary.
SWOT ANALYSIS
We will from time to time conduct a SWOT analysis of our Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threat. These factors will be analysed in order to look for any beneficial factors and any obstacles which may stand in our way to achieving our mission and objectives.
MARKETING MIX
This is a very important part of our plan. The marketing mix elements include the Product, price, place, promotion, people, physical evidence and process. These elements will be blended as follows in order to satisfy our customers.
PRODUCT Asongwe Company will produce and sell five main products. These products includes Orange Juice, Pineapple Juice, Heineken Beer, Wine and lemonade.
PRICE Each product will cost 1 each for cans or cartons. For example a carton of Orange or pineapple juice cost 1 while a can of Heineken cost the same amount and a bottle of wine cost same amount. We aim to make our prices similar.
PLACE We will produce and sell our products mostly in the USA. We produce in four states in the USA. Orange juice is produced and sold in New York, Pineapple juice is produced and sold in Atlanta, Beer is produced and sold in Chicago while wine is produced and sold in California and lemonade is produced and sold in New Jersey.
PROMOTION We will use the following advertising means to let customers know of our products and persuade them to buy. We do television, radio, internet and newspapers advert. From time to time we do offer sales promotion on our selected products. We plan to spend 100, 000 Dollars on advertisement this year. We spent over 200,000 dollars last year in advertisement fee.
SALES INFORMATION
This company plans to sell 80,000 cartoons of each of the products mentioned above by the end of 2010. The company plans to sell each carton of either juice or beer or wine produced for a dollar each (1 each).
INVESTMENT
For each product, I plan to spend about 50, 000 dollars in buying raw materials necessary for production. This investment will enable us to achieve our 80, 000 cartoons target for each product.
The company also plans to spend 200, 000 dollars in advertisement via radio, television and the internet. These will be the main media that will be used by the company in advertising its products.
To be able to achieve our production target of 80, 000 cartoons for each product, the company plans to invest 100, 000dollars in purchasing machineries needed for production.
